Lead developer Tyler Olmstead will release v157 on Tuesday evening, October 8th.  Changes include:

  1. Odometer In can be required to start a job
  2. Customer Source Field added to API
  3. Bug Fix: Month Date picker on Scheduler

#1 - Odometer In can be required to start a job

Certain states require an Odometer In entry be filled in when the job is started; specifically it should be present on the Estimate copy provided to the customer.

To turn this setting on, go to Shop Settings and click on the RO Info tab at the top of the page. Then scroll down to Odometer Requirements and click the box next to "Odometer In entry before starting a job".

When an RO is started, the Odometer In field will have a red arrow indicating that field is required before the Technician can start the job.

#2 - Customer Source field added to API

Shops use API integrations with Shop-Ware to pull information into other web-based applications to connect, access information, and use that information to deliver their own services.

This release adds Customer Source as a read/write field to the API integrations.

For additional information, please see our API Documentation.

#3 - Bug Fix: Month Date picker on Scheduler

Previously, from the Scheduler, the top row of days could not be selected.  This bug has been fixed.

This concludes Release Notes for Version 157.  Enjoy!
