Lead developer Tyler Olmstead released v167 on Friday evening, December 27th.  Updates include:

  1. Customer and Vehicle menus moved to a triple-dot icon
  2. Categories can be deleted and reassigned
  3. Bug fix: PDF logo display for Multishop tenants

#1 - Customer and Vehicle menus moved to a triple-dot icon

On the Repair Order you will notice a new triple-dot icon (a.k.a. the "kabob") in the boxes for Customer and Vehicle information, to access their corresponding menus.   These menus were previously accessed by clicking on the blue circle icons, which was mysterious.

Clicking the blue circles will trigger a callout to click the new icon, so don't worry about having to notify your existing staff.  Future staff should find the menu location a lot more intuitive.

#2 - Categories can be deleted and reassigned

This release includes another Category enhancement (with more to come).  Users with access to settings can now delete their categories from the settings page:

Deleting a category will not remove or otherwise affect category assignments on any existing estimates, work orders, or invoices, and will therefore not disrupt your reporting.  Feel free to delete categories when you no longer wish to use them.

When you delete a category, the confirmation modal will also allow you to reassign all Canned Jobs currently linked to that category to another one, the case of duplicates or changes in reporting strategy:

#3 - Bug fix: PDF logo display for Multishop tenants

Version 167 includes a fix for the logo displayed in the header of the RO PDF.  Previously it would show the logo of the shop a staff member was currently viewing, not the shop the work necessarily took place.  This was a problem for staff members with permission access between shops viewing customer service history.

This issue has been fixed.

This concludes Release Notes for Version 167.  Enjoy!
